The 2026 Suzuki Jimny LITE is the entry point into Suzuki's 3-door Jimny range, priced from $36,490 drive away -- Suzuki publishes no separate RRP for any Jimny grade. It shares its 1.5L petrol engine, ladder-frame construction and part-time 4WD system with the standard Jimny, but is manual-only (no automatic offered), swaps LED projector headlights for halogen, and drops to steel 15-inch wheels with a steel spare instead of alloy. It keeps front AND rear parking sensors, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Suzuki's DSBS II autonomous emergency braking as standard equipment. We show no ANCAP rating for it: the only ANCAP record covering the 3-door Jimny was datestamped 2018 and expired in December 2024, and its build window closed before this car was made, so there is no current rating to report.
Configure the LITEThe 2026 Suzuki Jimny GLX is a compact 4WD SUV that suits buyers wanting genuine off-road capability without the size or complexity of larger vehicles, backed by a 5-star ANCAP safety rating and three-year warranty. Its standout strength is lightweight versatility-at just 1100kg and 1.5L petrol engine producing 75kW, it delivers a 377-litre boot and 1300kg towing capacity while returning 8.1L/100km, keeping running costs around $3222 annually. The main consideration is seating: with only four seats and a modest 130Nm of torque, it's better suited to couples or small families rather than larger groups needing everyday practicality.
