Corrections

If a price, spec, rating or piece of equipment on CarSorted is wrong, we want to know. This page is how to tell us, what we promise in return, and the kinds of corrections we make.

How to dispute a figure

  1. Use the form below, or the "Report incorrect data" link on the car's own page, which brings you here with the car filled in.
  2. Tell us which figure is wrong and, if you can, where the right one is printed: the maker's Australian page or brochure, the Green Vehicle Guide or ANCAP.
  3. Or email support@carsorted.ai with the page link and the figure.

What we promise

Found an Error?

If you notice any incorrect data, please let us know. We strive for accuracy and appreciate corrections from our community. How corrections work.

The kinds of corrections we make

A price that moved

The maker changed its price or ran a new drive-away offer. We re-check the maker's own Australian page and update the figure and its checked date.

A figure from the wrong grade

A row carried the kerb weight, range or dimensions of the grade next to it in the maker's table. We read the document down the right column and fix the row.

A figure from the wrong generation

A row picked up a figure from an older or newer model. We find the maker's document for that car's own generation before changing anything.

A rating we could not support

A safety rating or warranty term the official record did not cover for that car. The value is cleared to "No data" until the record supports it.

A label that overstated a figure

A price shown without its basis, or an estimate shown as a fact. The figure gets its basis (RRP, drive-away and the state, or estimated) beside it.

Equipment shown as fitted when it is optional

An option is shown as optional with its printed price, not as standard.

How we source and check figures is set out on our methodology page; the terms explain what our figures are and are not.
