The Aston Martin DBX is the brand's high-performance luxury SUV, sharing its Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with the DB12 and Vantage but tuned here to 405kW and 700Nm. An 8-speed ZF automatic and permanent all-wheel drive deliver 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 291km/h. The DBX undercuts a Bentley Bentayga or Rolls-Royce Cullinan on price while bringing more genuine sports-car DNA — it shares its rear-wheel-bias chassis tuning with the brand's GT cars. Hand-built in Aston Martin's St Athan, Wales factory. 3-year unlimited-kilometre warranty. ANCAP not tested.
