Specifications, price and details for the Ford Bronco on sale in Australia.
The Bronco heading for Australia is not the ladder-frame off-roader the name suggests. It is the China-built Bronco New Energy, sold there as the Bronco Basecamp and co-developed with Ford's joint-venture partner JMC, and it rides on passenger-car underpinnings rather than a heavy-duty chassis. At 5025mm long it is about the size of a Toyota Kluger or Hyundai Palisade, but seats five rather than seven. Ford China offers it as a dual-motor electric and as a range-extender hybrid. Ford Australia has not confirmed it: a Brisbane dealer published an expressions-of-interest page and Ford said it went up incorrectly and was not an official announcement. Treat every figure here as Chinese-market and unconfirmed for Australia.
