Specifications, price and details for the Suzuki APV on sale in Australia.
The Suzuki APV is a compact 2-seat panel van sold in Australia from 2009 to 2018, aimed at tradies and small-fleet buyers needing an affordable, easy-to-park commercial vehicle. It runs a 1.6-litre (1590cc) petrol engine making 68kW and 127Nm through a 5-speed manual only -- no automatic was offered -- and drives the rear wheels via a leaf-spring live axle. Suzuki Australia's own figures show a 1140kg kerb weight, 1950kg GVM, 3.4m3 (3400L) cargo volume and 8.2L/100km combined fuel use on the ADR81/01 cycle. Standard equipment was basic even for its era: manual air conditioning, remote central locking and an engine immobiliser were fitted, but there was no ABS, ESC, airbags beyond the front pair, or power windows. Suzuki Australia discontinued the APV in early 2018 after new ADR rules made stability control mandatory on light commercials, a feature the APV never received.
