The 2022 Audi SQ5 Sportback is the performance diesel version of Audi Australia's coupe-roofed Q5, sold new here and now trading used. A 2,967 cc V6 turbo diesel with an electric powered compressor and 48V mild-hybrid system makes 251 kW at 3,800-3,950 rpm and 700 Nm from 1,750-3,250 rpm, through an eight-speed tiptronic and permanent quattro. Audi quotes 5.1 seconds to 100 km/h and a 250 km/h top speed, with 7.1 L/100km and 186 g/km CO2 on the ADR 81/02 combined cycle (calculated on 21-inch wheels) and a 2,085 kg unladen weight that includes a 75 kg driver. It tows 2,000 kg braked. Where the Q5 Sportbacks make the Comfort and Technik packages optional, the SQ5 Sportback has their content standard: Matrix LED headlights, a Bang & Olufsen 3D system with 19 speakers and 755 W, privacy glass, a head-up display, heated electric front seats with memory and adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist.
