The 2023 Audi TT RS Coupé quattro is the range-topping performance version of Audi's final-generation TT, sold in its last Australian model year before global TT production ended in May 2023. Its 2,480cc inline five-cylinder turbo-petrol makes 294kW from 5,850-7,000rpm and 480Nm from 2,250-5,850rpm, through a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch and quattro all-wheel drive, for a claimed 3.7 seconds 0-100km/h and a 250km/h top speed. Combined fuel use is 8.0L/100km with 181g/km CO2 on the ADR 81/02 cycle on the standard 20-inch wheels. Unladen weight is 1,525kg. Every item in Audi's standard equipment and options table for this model reads as standard: Audi magnetic ride adaptive damping, gloss red brake callipers, an RS sport exhaust, Matrix LED headlights, RS sport seats in Fine Nappa leather with Alcantara inserts, and a 12-speaker 680W Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System. Transcribed from Audi Australia's own MY23 specification guide.
Configure the TT RS Coupé quattroThe MY17 Audi TT RS Coupe brought back the five-cylinder to the 8S TT, and on Audi Australia's own figures it was the quickest car in the range by a wide margin. The specification guide lists a 2,480cc inline five with direct injection and turbocharging making 294kW between 5,850 and 7,000rpm and 480Nm from 1,700rpm, through a seven-speed S tronic and quattro, for a claimed 3.7 seconds to 100km/h and a 250km/h top speed. Combined consumption is 8.4L/100km with 192g/km of CO2 on ADR 81/02, and unladen weight is 1,515kg on Audi's basis that includes 75kg for driver and luggage. Standard equipment covers 20-inch Audi Sport wheels on 255/30 tyres, RS sport suspension plus with Audi magnetic ride adaptive dampers, red brake calipers, the RS sport exhaust with gloss black oval tips, LED headlights with dynamic rear indicators, active lane assist, side assist, front and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, privacy glass, heated Nappa leather RS sport seats with electric adjustment and pneumatic bolsters, and a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with RS-specific displays running MMI navigation plus. Matrix LED headlights and OLED rear lights sat inside an optional Advanced lighting package, and ceramic front brakes and a carbon engine cover were separate options. This model year is no longer sold new in Australia.
Configure the TT RS Coupe quattroThe MY17 Audi TT RS Roadster was the open five-cylinder version of the 8S TT RS, and Audi Australia never listed it again after this generation. The specification guide gives the same 2,480cc turbocharged inline five at 294kW between 5,850 and 7,000rpm and 480Nm from 1,700rpm, driving through a seven-speed S tronic and quattro for a claimed 3.9 seconds to 100km/h against the Coupe's 3.7, with the same 250km/h top speed. Combined consumption is 8.6L/100km with 196g/km of CO2 on ADR 81/02, and it carries 90kg more than the Coupe at 1,605kg unladen on Audi's basis that includes 75kg for driver and luggage. The Roadster adds a fully automatic acoustic hood that works at up to 50km/h, an electrically extending wind deflector and standard neck-level heating for the front seats, and gives up the Coupe's split-fold rear seats, separate head airbags and standard privacy glass. Everything else carries across: 20-inch Audi Sport wheels on 255/30 tyres, RS sport suspension plus with magnetic ride, red brake calipers, the RS sport exhaust, LED headlights with dynamic rear indicators, active lane assist, side assist, heated Nappa leather RS sport seats and a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit with MMI navigation plus. This model year is no longer sold new in Australia.
