The BYD Ti7 is a boxy seven-seat plug-in hybrid large SUV that BYD has confirmed as likely for Australia. It uses a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 35.6kWh Blade LFP battery for a claimed 127km of electric-only range on China's cycle. It targets the rugged family-SUV space against the likes of the Ford Everest and GWM Tank. Australian pricing and timing are not yet confirmed. We have not driven it and these figures are preliminary China-market data.
