The 2013 Valente was Mercedes-Benz Australia's eight-seat people mover, built on the W639 Vito and sold as a separate nameplate rather than as a Vito grade. Its 2.1-litre two-stage turbo-diesel four makes 120 kW at 3800 rpm and 360 Nm from 1600 rpm, 20 kW more than the Vito Wagon it replaced, and drives the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic. Mercedes-Benz quoted 8.2 L/100km and 216 g/km. Standard kit ran well ahead of the van: dual-zone THERMOTRONIC climate control with ducts to the rear, a leather steering wheel, auto-dimming mirror, light and rain sensors, 17-inch alloys, four ISOFIX and top-tether positions and thorax and window airbags on top of the front pair. The brochure lists a 2155 kg kerb weight, a 730-litre luggage compartment behind the third row and an 11.8 m turning circle. It is no longer sold new.

The W447 Valente 116 BlueTEC was the launch version of Mercedes-Benz Australia's eight-seat people mover on the second-generation Vito platform, sold as its own nameplate rather than as a Vito grade. A 2.1-litre turbo-diesel four makes 120 kW at 3800 rpm and 380 Nm, needs AdBlue, meets Euro 6 and drives the rear wheels through the 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic. Mercedes-Benz quoted 6.3 L/100km combined and 166 g/km on ADR 81/02, a big step on the 8.2 L/100km of the W639 Valente it replaced. The July 2015 brochure lists a 3050 kg gross vehicle mass, a 2260 kg unladen weight measured with a full tank and no driver, 3.6 cubic metres of load space behind the third row and an 11.8 m turning circle. Standard kit included curtain airbags front and rear, thorax-pelvis sidebags, ATTENTION ASSIST, Crosswind Assist, rear Tempmatic air conditioning and automatically folding mirrors. It is no longer sold new.
