Roof rails are standard on this body and unavailable on the Fastback. Peugeot Australia's September 2015 sheet prints 4.6 L/100km combined and 119 g/km of CO2 on a 1620 kg kerb weight, with 1200 kg of braked towing and 750 kg unbraked. Over the Allure it adds full LED headlights with adaptive main beam, a colour head-up display, tyre pressure sensors, an alarm, Nappa leather, a memory driver's seat with massage and 19-inch alloys on 235/40 tyres, with JBL premium sound the only option left in its column.
Configure the GT 133kW BlueHDi TouringThe 2012 508 GT is again the 2.2-litre HDi car, 150 kW and 450 Nm through a six-speed automatic, and Peugeot Australia's July 2012 sheet gives it the biggest brakes in the range at 340 by 30 mm ventilated front discs. It prints 5.7 L/100km combined, 150 g/km, a 1540 kg kerb weight and 1875 kg of braked towing, with double-wishbone front suspension and a 12.2 m turning circle where the rest of the range gets Macpherson struts and 11.9 m. Standard kit includes a colour head-up display, bi-xenon directional headlights with washers, adaptive main beam, tyre pressure sensors, an alarm and 18-inch alloys. Nappa leather, a memory driver's seat, a sunroof and 19-inch alloys are options.
Configure the GT 2.2 HDiThe 2014 508 GT Touring gains 19-inch alloys on 235/40 tyres and standard JBL premium sound. Its 2.2-litre HDi is unchanged at 150 kW and 450 Nm, with 5.9 L/100km combined, 154 g/km of CO2, a 1676 kg kerb weight and 1875 kg of braked towing, on 340 by 30 mm ventilated front discs, double-wishbone front suspension and an 11.2 m turning circle. Standard kit includes Nappa leather, a memory driver's seat, a colour head-up display, bi-xenon directional headlights with washers, adaptive main beam, tyre pressure sensors, an alarm, a panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind and a motorised tailgate.
Configure the GT 2.2 HDi TouringThe 2013 508 Allure with the 1.6-litre turbo petrol keeps 115 kW, 240 Nm, 7.1 L/100km combined and a 1414 kg kerb weight, but gains 18-inch alloys on 235/45 tyres as standard for this revision. Standard equipment covers satellite navigation, quad-zone climate control with individual rear controls, keyless entry with push-button start, front and rear parking sensors, an electric park brake, hill assist and leather electric front seats. A colour head-up display, JBL premium sound, a sunroof and bi-xenon directional headlights with adaptive main beam are all printed as options. No price appears on the sheet.
Configure the Allure 1.6 turboThe last 508 Touring specification sheet Peugeot Australia published is dated June 2017 and lists one car: the Allure with the 120 kW HDi diesel, 340 Nm through a six-speed automatic, 5.5 L/100km combined and 144 g/km of CO2 under ADR 81/02, on a 1540 kg kerb weight with 1475 kg of braked towing. Standard equipment is unchanged from the October 2016 print, with a panoramic glass roof and electric sunblind, motorised tailgate, privacy glass, blind spot monitoring, a reversing camera, a 7-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, quad-zone climate control, heated leather electric front seats and 18-inch alloys. The only change between the two sheets is the distributor's name in the colophon, which becomes Inchcape European Automotive.
Configure the Allure 120kW HDi TouringFor 2014 Peugeot Australia moved the 508 GT onto 19-inch alloys with 235/40 tyres and made the JBL premium sound system standard. The 2.2-litre HDi is unchanged at 150 kW and 450 Nm through a six-speed automatic, with 5.7 L/100km combined, 150 g/km of CO2, a 1540 kg kerb weight and 1875 kg of braked towing, plus 340 by 30 mm ventilated front discs, double-wishbone front suspension and a 12.2 m turning circle. Nappa leather, a memory driver's seat, a colour head-up display, bi-xenon directional headlights with washers, adaptive main beam, tyre pressure sensors and an alarm are all standard; a sunroof is the one remaining option.
Configure the GT 2.2 HDiThe facelifted 2015 508 Active runs Peugeot's 121 kW e-THP 1.6-litre turbo petrol, up 6 kW on the engine it replaced and certified to Euro 6, with 240 Nm at 1400 rpm and a six-speed automatic. Peugeot Australia's November 2015 sheet prints 5.8 L/100km combined and 134 g/km of CO2, well under the 7.1 L/100km and 164 g/km of the pre-facelift petrol, against a 1410 kg kerb weight, 1600 kg braked towing, 740 kg unbraked and a 75 kg towball download. New standard kit includes a 7-inch colour touchscreen with 8 GB of media storage, a reversing camera and steering wheel paddle shifters, alongside dual-zone climate control, satellite navigation and 17-inch alloys. No price is printed.
