The Zeekr 9X is the Chinese brand's upper-large flagship SUV and its first plug-in hybrid, confirmed for Australia around late 2026 into early 2027. It is not on sale here yet, so treat every figure as preliminary until Australian homologation lands. In flagship tri-motor form it pairs a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with three electric motors on a 900-volt architecture for a combined 1,030kW and 1,410Nm, a claimed 0-100km/h of 3.1 seconds, and up to 380km of electric-only range on China's CLTC cycle. It rides on air suspension, runs one of the largest batteries ever fitted to a plug-in hybrid at 70kWh, and is quoted as capable of very fast DC charging. Positioned as a Range Rover and BMW X7 rival, it is expected to sit above the Luxury Car Tax threshold, with local pricing and variant details still to be confirmed.
