Key Takeaways

  • Prices unchanged: $57,900, $63,900 and $72,900 before on-road costs, plus a new $75,900 Performance AWD Black Edition
  • WLTP range up to 627km (Long Range RWD); 0-100km/h from 3.7 seconds
  • Launch offer for orders 1 November to 31 December 2026: premium paint and interior choice, two services and a 7kW home charger
  • Zeekr's own pages don't print torque, boot volume or a delivery month; those come from outlets

Zeekr has updated the 7X for its second year in Australia, and the headline is simple: more power for each grade, a little more range, and no price rise. Zeekr Australia's own configurator lists the MY27 car at the same prices as before, and adds a fourth grade, a Performance AWD Black Edition, at $75,900. Orders for the updated car opened on 1 November.

We read Zeekr Australia's configurator, 7X page and offers page on 6 November. The MY27 figures below are ones Zeekr prints. Where Australian outlets have reported something Zeekr's pages don't carry, we say so.

Current price on CarSorted: Zeekr 7X RWD $57,900 RRP, as at 15 Oct 2026; Zeekr 7X Performance AWD $72,900 RRP, as at 15 Oct 2026; Tesla Model Y RWD $58,900 RRP, as at 16 Sep 2026.

*Manufacturer list price including GST, excluding on-road costs, as listed by Zeekr Australia (correct as at 1 November 2026). Range is WLTP. Zeekr's spec block lists 544km for the Performance AWD; its configurator shows 545km for the AWD grades. Each grade charges at up to 22kW AC on an 800V platform.

What's Changed From MY26

Against the MY26 figures in our directory, each grade gains 25kW: the rear-drive cars go from 310kW to 335kW and the Performance AWD from 475kW to 500kW. Range edges up too, to 482km (from 480km), 627km (from 615km) and 544km (from 543km), on the WLTP test. The quicker 0-100 times follow the extra power.

Outlets including carsales and CarExpert have also reported 80Nm more torque per grade, a built-in dashcam, rear privacy glass across the range and a reworked centre console. Zeekr Australia's MY27 pages don't print a torque figure, and of those equipment changes they name a Sentry Mode rather than a dashcam, so we're treating those details as reported until Zeekr publishes a MY27 specification sheet.

The new Black Edition is a Performance AWD with 20-inch black wheels and four-piston orange brake calipers, in Onyx Black only, for $3,000 more than the standard Performance AWD.

The Launch Offer

Zeekr Australia's offer covers MY27 7X orders placed with a deposit at an authorised dealer between 1 November and 31 December 2026. It lists complimentary premium paint (Tech Grey, Crystal White, Forest Green, or Tech Grey with a black roof) and a choice of interior colour, two complimentary scheduled services, a complimentary 7kW home wall charger (installation is at the customer's cost), 5,000 Z-Points in the Zeekr app and a gift package. Retail buyers qualify, including ABN holders; fleet, government, rental and demonstrator sales are excluded.

Some early coverage described the offer as limited to the first 2,000 orders. Zeekr's current terms set an order window and mention no order cap. Zeekr says delivery timeframes may vary; outlets have reported first deliveries in December.

How It Lines Up Against Its Rivals

At the entry point, the 7X sits among the mid-size electric SUVs it is commonly compared with. These are the entry grades of each in our directory:

Entry gradePrice (RRP)PowerWLTP range
Zeekr 7X RWD (MY27, Zeekr AU)$57,900335kW482km
Tesla Model Y RWD$58,900255kW466km
BYD Sealion 7 Premium$54,990230kW482km
Kia EV5 Air Standard Range$56,770160kW400km
XPeng G6 Standard Range RWD$51,800190kW435km

Current price on CarSorted: Tesla Model Y RWD $58,900 RRP, as at 16 Sep 2026; BYD Sealion 7 Premium $54,990 RRP, as at 14 Oct 2026; Kia EV5 Air Standard Range FWD $56,770 RRP, as at 6 Sep 2026; XPeng G6 Standard Range RWD $51,800 RRP, as at 24 Jun 2026.

Rival figures are the stored values on each car's page in our directory, before on-road costs. Prices change; check each manufacturer's current list.

On the printed numbers, the entry 7X carries more power than any of those rivals' entry grades and matches the Sealion 7 Premium on WLTP range, for a price between the Sealion 7 and the Model Y. Power figures don't tell you about ride, cabin space or the dealer network, so line up the full specs on our compare page before deciding.

Warranty and Servicing

Zeekr Australia lists a five-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000km battery warranty and five years of roadside assistance on the MY27 7X. Its offers page sets the first service at 12 months or 20,000km, then at 24-month or 40,000km intervals.

Our Take

More power and a little more range for the same money is a straightforward upgrade, and the Black Edition gives buyers a dressed-up option without a big jump in price. What Zeekr hasn't published yet matters too: there's no MY27 specification sheet with torque, boot volume and a full equipment list, so if one of those decides it for you, wait for that document or ask the dealer to show it. If you already have a MY26 order, Zeekr says you can talk to your dealer about switching. The facts, side by side; your decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is the 2027 Zeekr 7X in Australia?
Zeekr Australia lists the MY27 7X at $57,900 for the RWD, $63,900 for the Long Range RWD, $72,900 for the Performance AWD and $75,900 for the new Performance AWD Black Edition. These are manufacturer list prices including GST and excluding on-road costs, which Zeekr says were correct as at 1 November 2026. The first three are the same as the MY26 prices.
How much more powerful is the 2027 Zeekr 7X?
Zeekr Australia quotes 335kW for the RWD and Long Range RWD and 500kW for the Performance AWD. The MY26 car was 310kW and 475kW in our directory, so that is 25kW more for each grade. Outlets have reported torque rising by 80Nm, but Zeekr's own Australian pages don't print a torque figure for MY27.
What is the range of the 2027 Zeekr 7X?
Zeekr Australia quotes up to 482km WLTP for the RWD, 627km for the Long Range RWD and 544km for the Performance AWD (its configurator shows 545km for the AWD grades). Treat WLTP as a lab figure; real-world range depends on speed, temperature and load.
How fast does the Zeekr 7X charge?
Zeekr quotes 10 to 80 per cent in 11 minutes for the RWD, which it lists with a 450kW DC peak, and 15 minutes for the 100kWh grades at 420kW. Those times need a charger that can supply that power; many public DC chargers deliver less.
What is the 2027 Zeekr 7X launch offer?
For MY27 7X orders with a deposit placed between 1 November and 31 December 2026 at an authorised Zeekr dealer, Zeekr Australia lists complimentary premium paint and interior choices, two complimentary scheduled services, a complimentary 7kW home wall charger (installation at the customer's cost), 5,000 Z-Points and a gift package. Fleet, government, rental and demonstrator sales are excluded. Read the full terms on Zeekr's offers page.
When can I get a 2027 Zeekr 7X?
Zeekr Australia's offer terms cover orders from 1 November 2026 and say delivery timeframes may vary. Outlets have reported first deliveries in December 2026, but Zeekr's own pages don't print a delivery month, so check with a dealer.
Does the 2027 Zeekr 7X have an ANCAP rating?
ANCAP rating data is not yet available for the MY27 7X in our directory. Ratings aren't carried across model years automatically, so check ANCAP's own site for the current status.
