# 2026 Hyundai ELEXIO The ELEXIO is a practical mid-size electric SUV that'll suit families and commuters after a modern EV without the premium price tag. The 90kWh battery delivers a real-world range of 546km, which means you can genuinely take it on longer road trips without constantly hunting for chargers. Keep in mind the 8.9-second 0-100 time is respectable but not quick, so if you're after performance thrills you might want to look elsewhere.

The ELEXIO (base) is the entry grade of Hyundai's mid-size electric SUV in Australia. It shares the same 160kW/310Nm front-drive electric motor and 88.1kWh LFP battery as the Elite, but rides on smaller 18-inch alloy wheels, which lifts its WLTP range to 562km, the longest in the lineup and 16km more than the 20-inch Elite. DC fast charging peaks around 150kW for a 10-80% top-up in about 38 minutes, with an 10kW AC onboard charger. Inside, the base grade swaps the Elite's leather for cloth seats and a 6-way power driver's seat (no heating, ventilation or memory), runs a single wireless charging pad and a manual tailgate, but keeps the headline 27-inch display, full Hyundai SmartSense safety suite, nine airbags and the 5-star ANCAP rating. It is the value pick for buyers who want maximum range and the core ELEXIO package without the Elite's comfort upgrades.
