The 2026 Audi RSQ8 Performance is a high-performance luxury SUV that suits Australian buyers wanting genuine track-capable everyday transport, with its 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol delivering 463kW and 800Nm to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic. Its standout strength is the combination of rapid acceleration with practical versatility-the AWD system, 2700kg towing capacity and five seats make it genuinely usable for families and adventures, not just weekend blasts. One consideration is fuel consumption at 8.4L/100km; whilst reasonable for its performance class, budget-conscious buyers should factor the estimated $3616 annual running costs into their ownership decision.

The 2022 Audi RS Q8 is the performance flagship of Audi Australia's Q8 range, sold new here and now trading used. A 3,996 cc twin-turbo V8 with cylinder on demand and a 48V mild-hybrid system makes 441 kW at 6,000 rpm and 800 Nm from 2,200-4,500 rpm, through an eight-speed tiptronic and quattro with a self-locking centre differential and a sport differential on the rear axle. Audi quotes 3.8 seconds to 100 km/h and a 250 km/h limiter, 12.1 L/100km and 276 g/km CO2 on the ADR 81/02 combined cycle (calculated on the standard 23-inch wheels), and a 2,315 kg unladen weight that includes a 75 kg driver. It tows 3,500 kg braked with a 350 kg ball weight. Standard chassis hardware is unusually complete: RS sport adaptive air suspension, electromechanical active roll stabilisation, dynamic variable-ratio steering, all-wheel steering that shrinks the turning circle by about a metre, and the RS high-performance brakes with red callipers. Inside there are heated and ventilated Valcona leather RS sport seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit plus, a 10.1-inch MMI touch display with a separate 8.6-inch climate screen, a head-up display and a 17-speaker 730 W Bang & Olufsen 3D system. Transcribed from Audi Australia's own MY22 specification guide, which publishes no exterior dimensions or boot volumes.
