The Grand C4 Picasso was the long-wheelbase seven-seat version of Citroen's compact people mover, and Australia got a single MY2014 specification: Exclusive trim with the 2.0-litre BlueHDi turbo diesel making 110kW and 370Nm through a six-speed automatic. Citroen quoted 4.5 L/100km combined and 117 g/km on the standard 17-inch wheels, and 1,600kg of braked towing. Cargo space runs from 165 litres with all seven seats up to 2,181 litres with rows two and three folded. Standard equipment included a panoramic glass roof and windscreen, 360-degree vision parking with Park Assist, blind spot monitoring, satellite navigation on a 7-inch touchscreen with a 12-inch panoramic HD display, and three ISOFIX points across the second row.

For model year 2017 the seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso came to Australia in two forms, and the 2.0-litre HDi diesel was the one with the safety kit. It makes 110kW and 370Nm through a six-speed automatic, claims 4.5 L/100km combined and 117 g/km on the standard 17-inch wheels, and is the only one of the pair Citroen dotted for autonomous emergency braking (Active safety brake), active cruise control with stop function and stop-start. It tows 1,300kg braked. Boot space runs from 165 litres with all seven seats up to 2,181 litres with rows two and three folded, and standard kit includes a panoramic glass roof, a hands-free power tailgate, 360-degree vision parking, satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The petrol Grand C4 Picasso was the cheaper way into Citroen's seven-seat people mover for model year 2017: a 1.6-litre turbo four making 121kW and 240Nm through a six-speed automatic, claiming 6.4 L/100km combined and 149 g/km on the standard 17-inch wheels. It is the lighter of the two at 1,505kg but the weaker tow car, rated at 800kg braked against the diesel's 1,300kg, and Citroen's sheet leaves the autonomous braking and active cruise boxes unticked in this column. It keeps the panoramic glass roof, hands-free power tailgate, 360-degree vision parking, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a space saver spare.

The first-generation Grand C4 Picasso was Citroen's seven-seat compact people mover, and by MY2013 the Australian range had narrowed to a single Seduction grade in two flavours. This is the petrol one: a 1.6-litre turbocharged four making 115kW at 5800rpm and 240Nm from just 1400rpm, driving through Citroen's six-speed EGS robotised manual. Citroen Australia quoted 9.1 L/100km urban, 5.7 extra-urban and 7.0 combined with 162 g/km of CO2, from a 60-litre tank. It weighs 1505kg with a 2220kg gross vehicle mass, and tows 1300kg braked. Boot space runs from 208 litres with the third row in use to 672 litres with it folded, and the load bay stretches 2060mm with rows two and three down. Standard kit was generous for the money: a panoramic glass roof with an electric blind, satellite navigation, dual-zone climate, heated front seats, rear parking sensors and six airbags.

The first-generation Grand C4 Picasso was Citroen's seven-seat compact people mover, and by MY2013 the Australian range had narrowed to a single Seduction grade in two flavours. This is the diesel one: a 2.0-litre HDi turbo four making 110kW at 3750rpm and 300Nm at 1750rpm through a six-speed EGS robotised manual. Citroen Australia quoted 6.6 L/100km urban, 4.5 extra-urban and 5.3 combined with 137 g/km of CO2, from a 60-litre tank. The diesel carries 183kg more than the petrol at 1688kg kerb, with a 2308kg gross vehicle mass and 1400kg of braked towing. Boot space runs from 208 litres with the third row in use to 672 litres with it folded, and the load bay stretches 2060mm with rows two and three down.
