The Holden Cruze CD was the entry grade of Holden's locally-built JH-generation Cruze sedan (branded 'Series II' by Holden from launch), sold in Australia from 2011. Power came from a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol four making 104kW and 176Nm, with a 5-speed manual or optional 6-speed automatic. Standard equipment included a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, six airbags, ESC, Bluetooth with voice recognition, and steering wheel audio controls, but no reversing camera or modern driver-assist tech, reflecting the era.
Configure the CD Sedan 1.8The Holden Cruze SRi-V was the flagship JH Series II sedan grade, using the same 103kW/200Nm turbocharged 1.4-litre 'iTi' engine as the SRi but adding heated leather front seats, a 7-inch touch-screen satellite navigation system with voice recognition, a premium audio system with a 10GB hard drive able to pause live radio, passive entry with Sensor Key technology and push-button start, plus rear parking sensors and chrome-highlighted door handles.
Configure the SRi-V Sedan 1.4TThe Holden Cruze SRi introduced the turbocharged 1.4-litre 'iTi' petrol engine, producing 103kW and 200Nm, a broader torque spread than the base 1.8. It added a sports body kit, 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, and a rear lip spoiler over the CD, aimed at buyers wanting a sportier drive without stepping up to the flagship SRi-V.
