The Hyundai Grandeur 2.2 CRDi was the diesel option in Hyundai Australia's MY2011 Grandeur range. Hyundai's own specification sheet (current as at October 2010) lists a 2.2-litre common-rail turbo-diesel making 114kW at 4000rpm and a strong 343Nm from just 2500rpm, through the same 5-speed automatic as the petrol V6, with combined fuel use of 7.9L/100km (208g/km CO2) on the ADR81/02 cycle -- noticeably more efficient than the 3.8 V6's 10.8L/100km. It shared the petrol car's full equipment list (leather trim, heated/power front seats with memory, dual-zone climate, 8-speaker Infinity audio) but carries a lower braked towing capacity (1100kg vs the V6's 1800kg).
Configure the 2.2 CRDiThe Hyundai Grandeur 3.8 V6 was the range-topping petrol engine in Hyundai Australia's MY2011 Grandeur, a large front-drive sedan sold locally from 2006 to 2011. Hyundai's own specification sheet (current as at October 2010) lists a 3.8-litre V6 making 194kW at 6000rpm and 348Nm at 4500rpm through a 5-speed automatic, with combined fuel use of 10.8L/100km (255g/km CO2) on the ADR81/02 cycle. Standard equipment was extensive for the era: leather trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats with a 2-setting memory system, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, rain-sensing wipers, an 8-speaker Infinity audio system, and 8 airbags -- though Bluetooth connectivity was notably absent from the equipment list.
