The Hyundai Staria-Load Van Liftback is a two-seat cargo van with a single rear liftback door, dual sliding doors and 4,935 litres of VDA cargo volume. The 2.2-litre R-series CRDi turbo diesel produces 130kW and 430Nm, paired to an 8-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. ADR-tested fuel use is 7.0L/100km combined. Cargo bay is 2,607mm long, 1,640mm wide and 1,436mm tall, with eight tie-down hooks and floor covering as standard. Payload is 1,072kg and braked towing is 2,500kg. Standard safety includes seven airbags (front, side thorax, front centre, side curtain), the full Hyundai SmartSense suite (AEB with pedestrian/cyclist/junction-turning, BCA-R, RCCA, LFA, LKA, ISLA, SCC with Stop&Go, SEW, DAW), a Surround View Monitor 360-degree camera, and a rear wiper with auto-on-reverse. Inside, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4.2-inch TFT cluster, Qi wireless charging, electronic park brake with auto-hold, and four drive modes are standard. The trade-offs are predictable for a single-trim commercial: cloth seats only, two speakers, no leather steering wheel, no heated seats, and manual air conditioning. Buyers cross-shopping a Toyota HiAce LWB Auto, Ford Transit Custom or Renault Trafic Premium will find the Staria-Load the most active-safety-rich of the segment.

The Hyundai Staria-Load Van Twin Swing is the two-seat cargo van with twin swing rear doors that open wide for forklift-friendly loading instead of a liftback. Drivetrain and dimensions are identical to the Liftback: 2.2-litre R-series CRDi turbo diesel 130kW/430Nm, 8-speed auto, FWD, 5,253mm long on a 3,273mm wheelbase, 4,935 litres of VDA cargo capacity, 1,072kg payload and 2,500kg braked towing. Eight tie-down hooks and floor covering are standard. The Twin Swing trade-off versus the Liftback: no rear wiper and no Surround View Monitor 360-degree camera, but the wide-opening twin rear doors clear more cargo height and accept a forklift. Active safety, airbags (7) and tech are otherwise identical (8-inch touchscreen with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, full SmartSense, EPB with auto-hold, Qi wireless charging, four drive modes). Pick this over the Liftback if you're loading pallets through the rear instead of carrying items that need a single weatherproof door.

The Hyundai Staria-Load Crew Van Liftback is the five-seat version with a second-row fixed bench and a single liftback rear door. It carries the same 2.2-litre R-series CRDi turbo diesel (130kW/430Nm, 8-speed auto, FWD) and exterior dimensions as the 2-seat Van but trades cargo length for a passenger row: VDA cargo drops from 4,935 to 2,340 litres, cargo length goes from 2,607mm to 1,435mm. Payload rises slightly to 1,089kg, braked towing stays at 2,500kg. Standard equipment adds rear-row features missing from the 2-seat Van: second-row bench, rear cup holders, rear USB charge ports, sliding-door courtesy lamps, Rear Occupant Alert, child safety locks on rear doors, rear seat-belt monitor, and pop-out latch windows on the second row. The Liftback retains the Surround View Monitor and rear wiper. Active safety is the full Hyundai SmartSense suite (AEB with pedestrian/cyclist/junction turning, BCA-R, RCCA, LFA, LKA, ISLA, SCC with Stop&Go, SEW, DAW). For tradies who carry a crew during the week and tools through the back the rest of the time, this is the practical pick over the 2-seat Van.

The Hyundai Staria-Load Crew Van Twin Swing is the five-seat crew van with twin swing rear doors that open wide instead of a liftback. Powertrain, dimensions and equipment match the Crew Van Liftback: 2.2-litre R-series CRDi turbo diesel 130kW/430Nm, 8-speed auto, FWD, 5,253mm long, 1,089kg payload, 2,500kg braked tow, 2,340 litres of VDA cargo behind the second row. Like the 2-seat Van Twin Swing, this variant drops the rear wiper and 360-degree Surround View Monitor in exchange for the twin swing rear doors. All other crew-van kit is unchanged: second-row fixed bench, dual sliding doors, Rear Occupant Alert, rear child safety locks, rear seat-belt monitor, pop-out latch windows on row two, 7 airbags, full SmartSense active safety, 8-inch touchscreen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi wireless charging, electronic park brake with auto-hold. Pick this if you regularly load through the rear with a forklift or wide cargo and need to seat a five-person crew up front.
