The EV4 Air Standard Range is the entry grade of Kia's electric sedan in Australia, using the 58.3kWh battery for a WLTP combined range of 456km at 14.3kWh/100km. It keeps the same 150kW and 283Nm front motor as the dearer Earth and GT-Line, so it is no slower around town, and it charges 10 to 80 percent in about 29 minutes on a 350kW DC charger. Boot space is 490 litres, autonomous emergency braking is standard, and Kia's seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty applies. The trade-offs against the Long Range grades are distance and towing: 456km rather than 612, and 500kg braked rather than 1,000kg.

The 2026 Kia EV4 Earth is the long-range middle grade of Kia's electric sedan, with an 81.4kWh battery good for 612km WLTP combined at 14.9kWh/100km, which is a genuinely long legs figure for the money. It makes 150kW and 283Nm through the front wheels, carries 490 litres of boot space, tows 1,000kg braked and comes with autonomous emergency braking standard and a seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty. Worth knowing: the surround-view camera is a GT-Line item rather than an Earth one, and this is a low sedan rather than a crossover, so check rear headroom and your driveway clearance on the test drive.
