The MG ZS EV is a solid budget-friendly electric SUV that'll suit anyone after a practical family runaround without breaking the bank. It'll do 320km on a charge and gets from 0-100 in 8.2 seconds, which is decent for the price point. Just keep in mind you'll want to check out the dealer network in your area, as MG's service presence isn't as widespread as Toyota or Mazda yet.
Configure the Long RangeThe 2020 MG ZS EV is the original 44.5 kWh version of the electric compact SUV, taken from the MG Motor Australia MY20 specification sheet. It makes 105 kW and 353 Nm, and the manufacturer quotes 263 km on the WLTP combined cycle (provisional data at the time of printing) and 18.6 kWh/100 km. It charges through a combined Type 2 and CCS port, with 45 minutes to 80 per cent on a 50 kW CCS charger and 7 hours on a 7 kW wall charger. The manufacturer lists an 8 year or 160,000 km battery warranty and a 5 year unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty. This is a discontinued model and the sheet prints no price.
