Specifications, price and details for the Renault Grand Scenic on sale in Australia.
The Grand Scenic was Renault's seven-seat people-mover in Australia, and by 2010 Renault Australia had reduced it to a single grade: the Dynamique with a 2.0-litre petrol four and a four-speed automatic. Renault's own specification sheet gives 98kW at 5,500rpm and 191Nm at 3,750rpm from a 1,998cc engine, a combined consumption of 8.6L/100km measured to ADR 81/01, and a 610-litre boot measured to the roof with the cover out. It is 4,498mm long and 1,636mm tall on 205/55 R17 tyres, with a 10.85-metre turning circle and variable electric power steering. Equipment was generous for the money: climate control, cruise control with a speed limiter, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers, an electronic parking brake, six airbags including curtains, ESP with understeer control, and three individual sliding and removable second-row seats behind a foldable front passenger seat. Renault Australia priced it through dealers rather than on the website in 2010, having removed all prices from the site while it was rebuilt, so no recommended retail price is published here. It has no ANCAP rating on record for this generation.
