The 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid Elite is $52,990 est. RRP, which is an estimated RRP before on-road costs. For that you get a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV with a 19kWh battery, a claimed 90km of electric-only range and an official combined figure of 1.5L/100km, measured starting with a charged battery. We don't have a fuel figure for running it with a flat battery yet, so if you rarely plug in, that 1.5L/100km won't tell you much. Boot space is 143 litres with all seats up, and it can tow 1,500kg braked. It suits a family that needs the third row now and then and can charge at home for most daily running.
Configure the Elite$59,990 est. RRP is the figure for the 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid Ultimate AWD, and that's an estimated RRP, before on-road costs. For that you get a 7-seat AWD SUV with a plug-in hybrid setup and a 34kWh battery good for a claimed 170km of electric-only driving. Official combined fuel use is 1.4L/100km from a test that starts with a charged battery, but we don't have a flat-battery fuel figure yet, so long highway runs on petrol are a bit of an unknown. Boot space is 620 litres with all seats up. It suits a family that can plug in at home and wants room for seven.
