Specifications, price and details for the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N on sale in Australia.
The IONIQ 6 N is Hyundai's flagship electric performance sedan and, for now, the only IONIQ 6 you can buy in Australia while the regular model sits between generations. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup makes 448kW and 740Nm normally, jumping to 478kW and 770Nm for 10-second bursts on N Grin Boost, which is enough for a claimed 3.2-second 0-100km/h sprint and a 257km/h top speed. The 84kWh battery is good for a claimed 487km of WLTP range, and the 800-volt system can top up from 10 to 80 per cent in around 18 minutes. It leans hard into driver theatre with simulated gearshifts, synthetic engine sounds, launch control and a drift mode, plus a rear wing and forged 20-inch wheels. At $115,000 before on-road costs it sits opposite the Tesla Model 3 Performance as a genuinely niche halo car. Figures here are from Hyundai Australia, not a road test.
