The 2026 Renault Symbioz E-Tech Full Hybrid is a practical five-seat SUV that suits Australian families seeking genuine fuel efficiency without the charging hassle of a fully electric vehicle, delivering a combined consumption of just 4.6L/100km from its 1.6-litre hybrid engine. Its standout strength is the combination of strong safety credentials-five-star ANCAP protection-with low annual running costs around $2169 and a generous 434-litre boot that doesn't sacrifice practicality. One consideration is its modest towing capacity of 750kg, which may limit options for larger caravans or trailers, though it handles everyday driving and light towing competently.
