The Avatr 07L is a five-seat electric SUV confirmed as the first Australian model for Avatr, the premium brand jointly owned by Changan, CATL and Huawei. Changan Group Australia has confirmed right-hand-drive production for this market, with pre-orders opening before the end of 2026 and first customer deliveries targeted for the first half of 2027. Beyond that, almost nothing is settled for Australia. There is no local price, no local specification and no Australian website, and Changan has said powertrain outputs, battery capacity, driving range and charging performance will all be confirmed closer to launch. For that reason this listing carries no specifications at all rather than borrowed ones. Note that the 07L is a separate model to the shorter Avatr 07, which is not confirmed for Australia: on Avatr's own Chinese figures the 07L is 85mm longer with 50mm more wheelbase and a larger battery, so spec sheets for the 07 do not describe this car. The 07L has no ANCAP rating and none is on file. Its Chinese crash-test result was awarded by C-NCAP, a different programme testing to a different standard in a different market, and a C-NCAP outcome does not convert into an ANCAP rating.
