The Ford F-150 Platinum is the flagship of the locally remanufactured F-150 range, sitting above the XLT and Lariat. It uses the same 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 as the rest of the line-up, making 298kW and 678Nm through a 10-speed automatic and a full-time four-wheel-drive system. That gives it the full 4,500kg braked towing capacity, so it can haul a big caravan, a boat or a horse float without breaking a sweat.
