The Hyundai Getz SX sits atop the TB-generation Getz range, stepping up to a 1.6-litre petrol engine (78kW/144Nm) versus the base S's 1.4-litre. This 2010-model-year snapshot pairs it with the standard 5-speed manual and front-wheel drive. Unlike the S, the SX comes standard with four-wheel disc brakes, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, driver and front passenger side (thorax) airbags (4 airbags total), a seatbelt reminder buzzer, keyless entry with an alarm, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift. ESP Stability Control and Traction Control remained optional extras even on the SX via the Protectz pack, not standard. 14-inch alloy wheels replace the S's steel wheels. As Hyundai's higher-spec version of one of Australia's best-selling budget hatches from the 2000s, the SX offered meaningfully more standard safety equipment than the base S for a modest price premium.

The Hyundai Getz S is the entry grade of Hyundai's TB-generation light hatch, sold in Australia from 2002 to 2011 and twice voted Australia's Best Small Car during its run. This 2010-model-year snapshot uses the 1.4-litre petrol four-cylinder (70kW/125Nm) with a 5-speed manual, driving the front wheels. As a base-grade budget hatch of its era, the Getz S does without ABS, stability control, and any form of driver-assist technology - reversing camera, parking sensors and cruise control are absent even as options on this grade. It comes standard with driver and front passenger airbags, air conditioning, and Bluetooth handsfree/audio streaming. Interior trim is grey cloth, wheels are 14-inch steel with full covers, and Hyundai backed it with a 5-year unlimited-kilometre warranty. It remains one of the highest-volume used cars in the Australian market thanks to a long production run and large ex-rental and first-car fleet supply.
