The Jaguar X-Type 2.2 D was the sole diesel in Jaguar Australia's facelifted (2008-2010) X-Type range, introduced as part of the 2008 update alongside a new 6-speed automatic. Jaguar's own AU specification pages list 107kW and a strong 366Nm from the 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, with a claimed 9.9-second 0-100km/h and combined fuel use of 6.9L/100km (184g/km CO2) on the ADR81/01 cycle -- easily the most efficient engine in the range. It drove the front wheels only (Jaguar's AWD Traction4 system was reserved for the 3.0-litre V6), and, sharing the LE trim's standard equipment, came with leather trim, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, cruise control and Dynamic Stability Control.
Configure the 2.2 DThe Jaguar X-Type LE with the base 2.1-litre V6 petrol engine was the entry point into Jaguar Australia's facelifted (2008-2010) X-Type range. Jaguar's own AU specification pages list 117kW at a high-revving 6800rpm and 200Nm, driving the front wheels through a 5-speed automatic, with a 10.8-second 0-100km/h and 10.0L/100km combined fuel use (239g/km CO2) on the ADR81/01 cycle. Standard LE equipment per Jaguar's own Models page included leather and woodgrain trim, 10-way electric front seats with driver's memory, Reverse Park Assist, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, cruise control and Dynamic Stability Control on 17-inch Barbados alloy wheels.
Configure the LEThe Jaguar X-Type 3.0 Luxury was the range-topping variant of Jaguar Australia's facelifted (2008-2010) X-Type, built exclusively around the 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine and Jaguar's Traction4 all-wheel-drive system used across every 3.0-litre grade in the range. Jaguar's own AU specification pages list 172kW at 6800rpm and 284Nm, a 7.5-second 0-100km/h and a 230km/h top speed -- the quickest engine Jaguar Australia offered in the X-Type. Over the base LE equipment (leather trim, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, Dynamic Stability Control), Jaguar's own Models page lists Luxury-specific additions of standard satellite navigation, front and rear Park Assist and 18-inch Abaco alloy wheels.
