The X220d Pure was the entry point into Mercedes-Benz's first and only dual-cab ute, sold in Australia from 2018 to 2020. In 2WD Pickup guise it uses a 2.3-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel making 120kW/403Nm through a standard 6-speed manual only, with no automatic offered on this engine tune. It carried a 3,200kg GVM, 1,086kg payload and 3,200kg braked towing (lower than the 4WD/V6 grades' 3,500kg), on 17-inch steel wheels.
Configure the X220d Pure (2WD Pickup)The X250d Pure was the volume 4WD grade of Mercedes-Benz's X-Class ute, using the same 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel as Progressive and Power grades (140kW/450Nm) but with the base Pure equipment level: steel 17-inch wheels, fabric trim and no factory navigation. Manual is standard with a 7-speed automatic optional. GVM is 3,250kg with a 1,042kg payload and 3,500kg braked towing.
Configure the X250d Pure (4WD Pickup)X250d Progressive sat mid-range in the X-Class lineup: the same 140kW/450Nm 2.3-litre diesel and 4MATIC 4WD as X250d Pure, but with alloy wheels, DAB radio with 8 speakers, Garmin MAP PILOT navigation standard, heated mirrors and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. KEYLESS GO was standard only on the V6 X350d Progressive, not this 4-cylinder version.
Configure the X250d Progressive (4WD Pickup)X250d Power was the flagship 4-cylinder X-Class: 140kW/450Nm, 4MATIC 4WD, 18-inch alloys, ARTICO man-made leather trim, 8-way electric front seats, THERMOTRONIC dual-zone climate, COMAND Online navigation, KEYLESS GO and a 360-degree camera, all standard. It shared its running gear with X250d Progressive but added the top equipment tier below the V6.
Configure the X250d Power (4WD Pickup)X350d Progressive was the entry point to Mercedes-Benz's V6 X-Class: a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 making 190kW and 550Nm, paired exclusively with a 7-speed automatic (no manual was offered on the V6). Unlike the 4-cylinder Progressive, KEYLESS GO and THERMOTRONIC dual-zone climate were standard on the V6 version of this grade. GCM rises to 6,180kg on V6 models.
Configure the X350d Progressive (4WD Pickup)X350d Power was the range-topping Mercedes-Benz X-Class: the 190kW/550Nm V6 turbo-diesel with 7-speed automatic, 19-inch alloys, ARTICO leather trim, electric front seats, dual-zone climate, COMAND Online navigation, KEYLESS GO and a standard 360-degree camera.
