The 2003-2010 Proton Jumbuck GLi is the entry-grade version of Proton's compact FWD ute, specified here from Proton Cars Australia's own Jumbuck brochure. It runs a 1.4-litre 4G15P petrol engine producing 64kW and 124Nm through a 5-speed manual only, with a combined fuel figure of 6.6L/100km (ADR 81/02) and CO2 of 166g/km. Proton's brochure lists a weight of 1045kg and a payload of 570kg, with braked towing rated at 1000kg. The GLi rides on 14-inch steel wheels and keeps to a simple base-trim equipment list: power steering, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, central locking and an alarm/immobiliser, but no power windows or alloy wheels, both of which were reserved for the GLSi above it.
Configure the GLiThe 2003-2010 Proton Jumbuck GLSi is the higher grade of Proton's compact FWD ute, specified here from Proton Cars Australia's own Jumbuck brochure. It shares the GLi's 1.4-litre 4G15P petrol engine (64kW/124Nm, 5-speed manual only) and 6.6L/100km combined ADR 81/02 fuel figure, but Proton's brochure lists a heavier 1055kg weight and a slightly lower 560kg payload, with the same 1000kg braked towing rating. The GLSi adds 14-inch alloy wheels, front power windows, velour door and seat trim, a height-adjustable driver's seat, front driving lights and gold-painted lower-body two-tone paint over the GLi's steel wheels and unpowered windows.
