Rating covers both the incoming $89,900 iX3 40 and the $109,900 iX3 50 xDrive, and is valid through December 2034. Lane departure system flagged by ANCAP as a standout. 2027 Kia EV3 GT-Line AWD Priced for Australia: Dual-Motor Flagship Lands at $66,490, 559km WLTP and 6.6-Second 0-100
Kia Australia locks in a new AWD flagship on the EV3 small electric SUV. GT-Line AWD Long Range $66,490 before on-roads, $2,540 above the FWD GT-Line. Second motor at the rear pushes combined system output to 195kW/385Nm and cuts the 0 to 100km/h claim from 7.9 to 6.6 seconds. Same 81.4kWh Long Range battery as the rest of the line, WLTP range 559km, only 4km behind the FWD car. Upsized front and rear brakes plus a bespoke local suspension and steering tune sit on top of the standard Australian ride and handling program. Standard kit unchanged from the FWD GT-Line: 19-inch alloys, sunroof, synthetic leather trim, 10-way power driver's seat with memory, heated and ventilated front seats, heated wheel, dual-zone climate, dual 12.3-inch displays plus a 5-inch climate strip, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio and satellite navigation. 5-star ANCAP under the 2023 to 2025 protocol carries across from the FWD variants. Sits inside the fuel-efficient LCT threshold so the FBT novated-lease exemption still applies. 7-year unlimited-km vehicle warranty and 7-year/150,000km battery cover. First customer deliveries and dealer arrivals from September 2026.
2026 BMW iX3 40 Priced for Australia: $89,900 Rear-Drive Neue Klasse EV, 635km WLTP, Q4 Deliveries
BMW Australia opens the Neue Klasse iX3 range with the rear-drive iX3 40 at $89,900 before on-road costs, roughly $20,000 under the iX3 50 xDrive at $109,900 and, critically, beneath the fuel-efficient LCT cap so the novated-lease FBT exemption stays in play. Single rear motor: 235kW/500Nm, 0-100 in 5.9 seconds, top speed 200km/h. Same 82.6kWh usable pack as the 50, WLTP up to 635km, 800V architecture, DC charging peaks at 300kW with 10 to 80 per cent in 21 minutes and up to 300km added in a 10-minute stop. Standard kit matches the 50 xDrive: BMW Panoramic iDrive with Operating System X, panoramic glass roof, Harman Kardon audio, 20-inch wheels, comfort access, wireless charging, heated Veganza front seats with memory, Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus. 4,782mm long, 520L boot to 1,750L folded, 58L frunk. 5-year unlimited-km warranty, 8-year/160,000km battery. ANCAP not yet rated. Order books open now, first Australian customer deliveries Q4 2026.
