The 2026 Renault Koleos Evolution 4x2 is a practical five-seat SUV that suits buyers wanting European styling with genuine practicality, offering a 458-litre boot, 2000kg towing capacity and a competitive 7-year warranty. Its standout strength is fuel efficiency-the 1.6-litre petrol engine returns a respectable 7.8L/100km combined while delivering 140kW and 300Nm, keeping running costs to around $3177 annually. One consideration: the front-wheel drive setup limits off-road capability compared to 4x4 rivals, so it's best suited to sealed roads and light adventure driving rather than serious outback exploration.

The 2026 Renault Koleos Techno 4x2 is a five-seat compact SUV powered by a 140kW petrol engine, delivering solid value for families and commuters seeking practical everyday transport with 458 litres of boot space and respectable 2000kg towing capacity. Its standout strength is the combination of genuine fuel efficiency at 7.8L/100km paired with a comprehensive seven-year warranty and five-star ANCAP safety rating, giving peace of mind for long-term ownership. One thing worth considering is that as a front-wheel-drive model, it's optimised for urban and highway driving rather than off-road use, so check whether you need genuine all-terrain capability or if sealed-road performance suits your needs.

Its standout strength is the combination of respectable fuel economy at 8.2L/100km with a towing capacity of 2000kg, making it versatile for both city driving and weekend adventures. One thing to consider is that with a 140kW petrol engine, it's modest on power compared to some rivals, so performance isn't its primary appeal-practicality and value longevity are.
