The Wey G9 is a large luxury plug-in hybrid people mover (also marketed as the Gaoshan) from GWM's Wey brand, confirmed for Australia. It uses a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid making a combined 358kW and 762Nm with all-wheel drive and a claimed 140km of WLTP electric range. It rivals premium people movers like the Zeekr 009 and Denza D9. Australian pricing and timing are still to be confirmed. We have not driven it and these figures are preliminary.
