The MY26 MG4 EV Urban Essence 54 is the longer-range of the two MG4 EV Urban grades, pairing a 54kWh LFP battery on MG's E3 platform with a front-wheel-drive permanent-magnet synchronous motor making 118kW and 250Nm. MG Australia quotes 405km of WLTP combined range, 16.1kWh/100km, 0-100km/h in 8.7 seconds and 87kW maximum DC charging. It is 4,395mm long on a 2,750mm wheelbase with 382 litres of boot space behind the rear seats and 1,266 litres folded, plus 98 litres of under-boot storage. Standard kit includes a heat pump, heated front seats and steering wheel, a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch driver display, a 360-degree camera and seven airbags.
