Its standout strength is the combination of a 19kWh BYD Blade LFP battery delivering 100km of WLTP electric-only range and 670 litres of cargo space (1,350L+ with the seats folded), making it Australia's cheapest PHEV wagon and one of the very few wagons of any kind under $40k. One thing to consider: kerb weight is significant for a mid-size PHEV wagon, ANCAP has not published a star rating yet, and you only get the panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate and 50W wireless charger as standard on this Premium spec, not on the Essential Sedan.
