The Isuzu D-Max EV is the brand's first fully electric ute, revealed in production form, with Australia named among Isuzu's early electric-ute markets. It uses a dual-motor full-time 4x4 setup making a combined 140kW and 325Nm from a 66.9kWh battery, for a preliminary WLTP range of around 263km. Crucially it keeps ute credentials, with a 3,500kg braked towing capacity and roughly a one-tonne payload, though ground clearance and wading depth drop versus the diesel. Isuzu UTE Australia has not locked in a firm on-sale date or local price, with timing tied to the incoming emissions rules, so it is coming but not on sale here, and every figure is preliminary overseas-market data. We have not driven it and these specs are subject to change for the Australian launch.
