Isuzu has opened a quarter-long accessories promotion across the D-Max and MU-X ranges. The headline is up to $3,000 of genuine accessories, and the detail that matters is that the value is fixed per grade, from $1,500 at the bottom to $3,000 at the top. Sixteen grades are on Isuzu's eligible list. The car has to be bought and delivered inside the window, so a December order that is not delivered until January does not qualify.

Worth saying up front: nothing has moved on price. Isuzu is not calling this a price cut and it is not one. The drive-away deals already running on selected 25.5MY grades are a separate promotion with its own dates, and the accessory credit stacks on top of them.

Every eligible grade and what it gets

Straight from Isuzu's eligible-model list, with grades written the way Isuzu writes them. Where Isuzu also advertises a drive-away price, it is in the last column.

A few things fall out of that list. The D-Max X-Terrain and the Blade are not on it, and neither is any 4x2, so the $38,990 drive-away SX single cab-chassis misses out. Isuzu also lists the MU-X LS-T without an engine qualifier, unlike the LS-U and LS-M, and the eligible list on its main offers page does not name the LS-T at all, so confirm the value against the exact build you are signing for.

The drive-away prices above are Isuzu's own advertised figures and include one year's registration, CTP, dealer delivery and statutory charges. Metallic, mica and pearl paint is $695 extra, except on the MU-X X-Terrain where Isuzu includes it. "No data" means Isuzu's offers do not pair a drive-away price with that exact eligible grade, not that it is unavailable. Tour Mate packs and other engine versions carry their own advertised prices and are not the same build.

The $2,500 tier, and the one D-Max grade where Isuzu prints both an accessory value and a drive-away price.

Accessory credit is not money off

This is the part to read twice. Isuzu's terms say the credit can only be spent on genuine and approved Isuzu UTE accessories, cannot be redeemed for cash, and any unused value is forfeited. So the $3,000 is worth $3,000 to you only if you were going to spend $3,000 at the Isuzu parts counter at retail. If you wanted a canopy from a specialist, the credit buys you nothing.

Test it by pricing the parts you would actually fit, then asking what a straight discount on the same car looks like. If a dealer will take $2,000 off the invoice, that $2,000 is yours to spend anywhere, including on nothing. One point in the offer's favour: Isuzu covers genuine accessories fitted by a dealer at the point of sale of a new vehicle for three years or 100,000km, against one year or 40,000km when they are fitted later.

Check what else is running before you sign. Our live offers page tracks advertised drive-away deals by model, and the depreciation calculator is a quick sanity check on what the car is likely to be worth when you sell it, accessories or not.

Accessories come out of your payload

A bull bar, a canopy, a roof platform and a set of drawers is an easy way to spend $3,000, and every kilogram of it comes out of what the car can legally carry. That bites harder on the wagon than the ute. The MU-X LS-T 3.0L 4x4 carries 615kg between its 2,185kg kerb weight and its 2,800kg GVM, and the X-Terrain 605kg. A D-Max SX Crew Cab Chassis 4x4 has 1,185kg to play with. Pick a grade below, add a trailer, and see what is left once the accessories are on.

How these are calculated

Payload = GVM − kerb weight. Passengers, accessories and the tow-ball download all count against it.

GVM used = kerb + passengers + accessories + tow-ball.

GCM used = kerb + passengers + accessories + trailer (ATM). The tow-ball isn't added twice: it's part of the vehicle load and comes out of the trailer's axle weight, so (kerb + load + tow-ball) + (ATM − tow-ball) = kerb + load + ATM.

Tow = trailer ATM vs the braked rating. Tow-ball is assumed at 10% of the trailer (a common rule of thumb) unless you enter your own.

When a vehicle's kerb weight isn't published but its payload is, we derive kerb = GVM − payload. Manufacturers usually quote payload off the lightest build, so a car with options already fitted will have a little less real-world payload.

Vehicle weights (kerb, GVM, GCM, braked-tow and tow-ball limits) are the manufacturer's published figures from our database. Figures are a guide, not independently verified. Confirm against the compliance plate and never exceed rated GVM, GCM, tow or tow-ball limits.

Figures are the ones held on each car's directory page. For a whole-trip plan including the van, try TowingSorted, and see the MU-X LS-T 3.0L 4x4 or the D-Max SX Crew Cab Ute 4x4 for the full spec.

Our take

If you were already going to order a tow bar, a tub liner and a set of weathershields through the dealer, this is a good quarter to buy an Isuzu, and the three-year warranty on point-of-sale fitment is a real sweetener. If you were planning to shop the aftermarket, it is a soft offer dressed as a hard one, and the number to negotiate is still the one on the invoice. Either way the deadline is firm: delivery, not just the signature, has to land by 31 December 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Isuzu accessories offer and when does it run?
Isuzu UTE Australia is giving up to $3,000 of genuine Isuzu UTE accessories on selected D-Max and MU-X grades. The eligible vehicle has to be both purchased and delivered between 1 October 2026 and 31 December 2026, at participating Isuzu UTE dealers. The accessory value is fixed per grade, from $1,500 to $3,000.
Which Isuzu grades get the full $3,000?
Two of them, going by Isuzu's eligible-model list: the D-Max 4x4 LS-U+ Crew Cab Ute and the MU-X 4x4 LS-T. The D-Max 4x4 X-Rider Crew Cab Ute gets $2,500, the D-Max 4x4 SX grades and the 4x4 LS-U Crew Cab Chassis, plus the MU-X 4x4 LS-U and LS-M, get $2,000, and the MU-X 4x4 X-Terrain gets $1,500.
Can I take the accessory value as cash off the price instead?
No. Isuzu's terms say the offer cannot be redeemed for cash, it can only be spent on genuine and approved Isuzu UTE accessories, and any unused value is forfeited. It is a fixed credit at the parts counter, not a discount on the car.
Who is eligible for the Isuzu accessories offer?
Private, ABN and business fleet customers only. Isuzu's terms exclude government, fleet, rental and non-profit buyers, and the offer is available at participating Isuzu UTE dealers only.
Can the accessories offer be combined with Isuzu's drive-away pricing?
Isuzu's terms say the offer may be combined with applicable drive-away pricing offers, but cannot be used in conjunction with any other accessory promotion.
Did Isuzu D-Max and MU-X prices change?
No. This is an accessory credit, not a price move. The drive-away prices Isuzu advertises on selected 25.5MY grades are a separate offer, which Isuzu's own fine print dates from 1 July 2026 until 31 October 2026 unless extended, varied or while stocks last.
