The 2026 LDV Terron 9 Origin is the entry to LDV's new full-size dual-cab ute and a serious step up over the T60 MAX. A 2.5-litre bi-turbo diesel makes 163kW and 520Nm through an 8-speed automatic and switchable 4WD with low range, paired with a 3,500kg braked tow rating, 220mm of ground clearance and 550mm of wading. The Origin runs 18-inch alloys, cloth seating, four-speaker audio and 12.3-inch dual screens, but still gets dual-zone climate, wireless CarPlay/Auto, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise and a full ADAS suite. Five-star ANCAP (2024) and a 7-year, 200,000km warranty are the other big selling points. Worth knowing: payload is 1,100kg, fuel use is 7.9L/100km combined, and the front differential lock is reserved for the Evolve.

The 2026 LDV Terron 9 Evolve is the flagship of LDV's full-size dual-cab line-up, adding 20-inch alloys, leather, 8-speaker JBL audio, ventilated and massaging electric driver seat, heated outboard rear seats, ambient lighting, electric folding mirrors, a sliding cargo rail and a tub lighting setup over the Origin. Mechanically it shares the 2.5-litre bi-turbo diesel (163kW/520Nm) and 8-speed automatic with switchable 4WD, low range and a 3,500kg braked tow rating. The Evolve also picks up a front differential lock to go with the rear, Terrain 4L off-road modes (Custom, Wade, Rock Crawl), 5-star ANCAP (2024) and the same 7-year/200,000km warranty. Fuel use is 7.9L/100km and payload is 1,005kg, slightly lower than the Origin because of the heavier equipment.
