The GLE 450 4MATIC Coupe was the non-AMG C167 in Mercedes-Benz Australia's May 2022 range. Its 2999 cc inline six makes 270 kW between 5500 and 6100 rpm and 500 Nm from 1600 to 4500 rpm, with an EQ Boost starter-alternator, driving all four wheels through the nine-speed 9G-TRONIC for 5.7 seconds to 100 km/h. ADR 81/02 consumption is 9.1 L/100km combined (11.1 urban, 8.0 extra-urban) and 207 g/km on 98 RON from an 85-litre tank. GVM is 2970 kg, boot space 655 to 1790 litres, drag coefficient 0.29, and it tows 2700 kg braked as standard or 3500 kg with the TB1 towbar package. It rides on staggered 275/45 front and 315/40 rear 21-inch AMG alloys, and standard equipment includes AMG Line inside and out, nappa leather, Burmester surround sound, a head-up display, memory front seats, MULTIBEAM LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and a panoramic sliding sunroof.
