Specifications, price and details for the MG U9 EV on sale in Australia.
The MGU9 EV is MG's battery-electric dual-cab ute for Australia, the electric counterpart to the diesel MGU9. MG Motor Australia's configurator takes pre-orders for a single grade at $78,990 (GST included, on-road costs extra) but still labels the vehicle 'Coming Soon', so it is not yet on sale. MG quotes a 102.2kWh LFP battery, 125kW front and 200kW rear motors (250Nm and 450Nm) with four-wheel drive, 430km of WLTP range, 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds and 3,500kg braked towing, plus a 236-litre front boot and four-wheel air suspension. MG has not published payload, kerb weight, GVM, dimensions or charging power for it, and notes that the vehicle shown is an overseas model and local specification may vary. ANCAP: no data for the electric version.
