The 2026 Peugeot 408 GT Hybrid is a 5-seat SUV using Peugeot's 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol with a 15.6kW electric motor built into a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Peugeot Australia publishes a maximum combined power of 107kW, with the engine alone rated at 100kW and 230Nm, and quotes 4.5L/100km combined and 102g/km on the NEDC cycle. Practical numbers: 508 litres of boot space with the seats up, 1,583 litres to the roof with the rear seats folded, and 1,300kg of braked towing.
