The 2026 Chery Tiggo 4 Urban is a compact SUV that suits budget-conscious Australian families wanting practical transport without breaking the bank, offering genuine five-star ANCAP safety and a comprehensive seven-year warranty. Its standout strength is genuine value for money-the 1.5-litre petrol engine delivers respectable efficiency at 7.4L/100km whilst producing 108kW and 210Nm of torque across a spacious five-seat cabin with 358 litres of boot space. One thing to consider: running costs average around $2971 annually, but you'll want to factor in servicing logistics and parts availability for a newer Chinese brand in the Australian market.

The 2026 Chery Tiggo 4 Ultimate is a compact petrol SUV that suits budget-conscious families seeking practical everyday transport with a 358-litre boot and 1500kg towing capacity. Its standout strength is the seven-year warranty-a genuine safety net rarely offered in this segment-combined with a respectable 5-star ANCAP safety rating and modest running costs around $2971 annually. One consideration: the 1.5-litre engine produces just 108kW, so acceleration and highway merging feel leisurely compared to rivals, though the 7.4L/100km fuel consumption remains reasonable for the class.
