The 2026 Audi RS 5 Avant is the plug-in hybrid performance version of the FU-generation A5 range, on sale in Australia as a wagon (Avant). Audi Australia's specification guide lists a 2,894cc twin-turbo V6 with plug-in hybrid technology producing a combined 470kW and 825Nm, driving through an eight-speed tiptronic automatic and quattro all-wheel drive with Dynamic Torque Control. Audi quotes 3.6 seconds for 0-100km/h, a 250km/h top speed and 4.4L/100km with 101g/km of CO2 on the ADR 81/02 combined cycle. Standard equipment printed for the Avant includes 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels, RS sport suspension with controlled dampers, an RS sport exhaust, matrix LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency, heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, heated outer rear seats, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, 360-degree cameras and a 16-speaker, 685-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system. Audi publishes an unladen weight of 2,517kg including a 75kg driver and 90 per cent fuel, so no kerb weight is recorded. The guide does not print a vehicle price, battery size, electric range, dimensions, boot volume or towing figures, so those are not held.
