The 2007-2011 Proton Satria Neo GXR Automatic is the only Satria Neo grade with cruise control, per Proton Cars Australia's brochure, which explicitly marks the feature 'Auto Only'. It shares the GXR's 16-inch alloys, fog lights, rear spoiler and auto climate control, running the 82kW/148Nm CAMPRO engine through a 4-speed automatic for a 185km/h top speed, 13.7-second 0-100km/h, 7.4L/100km combined fuel and 177g/km CO2, with the heaviest kerb weight in the range at 1190kg.

The 2007-2011 Proton Satria Neo G Automatic pairs the same 1.6-litre 82kW/148Nm CAMPRO engine as the manual G with a 4-speed automatic. Proton's brochure lists a lower 185km/h top speed, a slower 13.7-second 0-100km/h, higher 7.4L/100km combined fuel and 177g/km CO2 than the manual, plus a 25kg-heavier 1175kg kerb figure. Unlike the manual grades, the automatic Satria Neo carries a 3-year/unlimited-km warranty and 3 years of roadside assistance rather than the manual's 3-year/100,000km and 12-month terms.

The 2007-2011 Proton Satria Neo GXR Manual is the range-topping grade, specified from Proton Cars Australia's own brochure. It uses the same 1.6-litre 82kW/148Nm CAMPRO engine and 5-speed manual as lower grades, with identical 190km/h top speed and 11.5-second 0-100km/h, but adds 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, a rear spoiler, auto climate control and an engine cover over the GX. Proton's brochure notes cruise control is automatic-only, so the manual GXR misses out on it despite otherwise being the top-spec car.
