The 2026 MINI Countryman C Core is a compact petrol SUV that appeals to urban and regional buyers seeking a stylish, manageable vehicle with genuine practicality, offering five seats and a 460-litre boot. Its standout strength is efficiency, returning 6.6L/100km combined and costing approximately $1355 annually to run, making it genuinely economical for daily driving. One thing to consider: while the 1.5-litre engine delivers adequate performance with 115kW and 230Nm, buyers regularly towing trailers will appreciate the 1500kg capacity, though heavier towing may feel stretched in this class.
