At $65,990 RRP, which is the recommended retail price before on-road costs, the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select RWD gets you a five-seat electric SUV that drives its rear wheels. It uses 18.6kWh/100km and has a WLTP range of 470km from a 73kWh battery. DC fast charging peaks at 150kW. The boot takes 402 litres with the seats up, and we don't have a braked towing capacity for it yet. It makes sense for a household that wants an electric SUV with room for five and a range that covers longer weekend runs.
Configure the Select RWDThe Mustang Mach-E GT is the performance flagship, with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup making 434kW and 955Nm and a 91kWh battery good for up to 515km WLTP. Ford says it covers 0-100km/h in 3.73 seconds, which it claims makes it the brand's fastest-accelerating vehicle in Australia, helped by MagneRide adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes and bespoke Pirelli rubber on 20-inch alloys. You trade some range versus the Premium RWD for the extra performance and grip.
